Later on I also got certified in CrossFit and Kettlebell training.

I have been a personal trainer for many years now and coming from the background in martial arts I implement a lot of my knowledge and experience into working with my clients and the classes that I teach.

I am now certified in group, functional and personal training.

My Functional training class here in BLC contains elements of Kettlebell training, CrossFit, MMA strength and conditioning elements.

I have a lot of satisfied clients and I enjoy helping people achieving their goals!

I am looking forward to working with you on setting and achieving your fitness and body goals!

I am not a typical fitness instructor. I encourage letting loose, smiling, being loud, making mistakes!

I am not perfect, nor do I want to be. I am REAL. I believe in dreams, happiness, wellness, support, community and love.

I was early 2015 when my primary care physician told me I needed to do cardio because of borderline high cholesterol. I joined Retro Fitness and tried all sorts of cardio only to discover that I do not like “cardio”.

It is HARD work! However, I can dance for an hour, unaware that an hours’ time had passed!

A friend invited me to take a Zumba class and I was hooked ever since!!! Music, dance, a friendly instructor – that was the start of my wellness journey. I have since lost weight and lowered my cholesterol without medication!

I became a Certified Zumba Instructor in December of 2016.

I am BEYOND excited to share what I learned.

· Music makes me smile!

· I love connecting with people

· Dancing relieves stress

· I look forward to seeing the friends I have made every week!

I promise to provide a judgement free zone. Anyone and everyone CAN do Zumba!!! Music is universal! It speaks one language to people of all ages!

Dance, sweat, smile, make new friends AND most importantly, get healthy!

One love. Dance. Zumba.

Lynn

Spin class instructor

My name is Lynn Lord and my fitness journey started in 1990 . I needed to lose some weight before my high school reunion . It started with Jane Fonda videos . When a really good gym membership came along I joined along with my son . I would go to classes before work . Then I realized that aerobics would not change the shape of my body I started lifting weights . Resistance training is very important to preserve bone density especially in women . I challenged myself by becoming a spin instructor .

Franky

Personal trainer

My name is Franky Simon the founder of Simon Says Fitness. After working in the health care industry taking care of patients for over 20 years I decided I wanted a career change. Instead of taking care of patients I wanted to keep people from becoming patients by introducing fitness into their lives. Truth be told movement is the only medicine you need with proper guidance to add years to your life span. I’m a certified professional fitness trainer, and also hold a nutritional specialist certification through the National Academy Of Sports Medicine (NASM).
